Hey Matt…Just to let you know….
The Tri-Pie has been the “Go To” box for a lot of what i do.
In the last couple months i’ve used it on several Showtime series.
And this past month i used it for about 90% of a ton of Dodge, Chrysler & jeep commercials for TV & radio.
Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Durango, Charger, Challenger. with variations on all of these.
It just stands out in the mix as something of sonic quality.

Just received the Box of War. I have got to say that your take on the Civil War Muff is absolutely dead on. I A/B’d it with my actual Civil War Muff and it sounded like I was A/B’ing two different Civil War Muffs. It sounds so good. I don’t have to worry about someone ganking my old cw muff when on the road now…I just have to worry about them ganking the Box of War!

i just wanted to say that i got the phuk today and love it. i’ve probably owned close to 20 OD pedals, mostly all “boutique”. i am very impressed with the build quality. i’ve had a few other germanium based “dirty boosts”, but none that are so perfectly tuned for bass. i love how it reacts to changes in my playing, from fingerstyle to chugging 1/8 notes with a pick. i know a lot of other professional bass players and i’ll make sure they hear it and hear about it. after i recover from xmas i intend to buy a PPB, as my current “muffish” fuzz is a bit too much and doesn’t have a clean blend. thanks again for quick correspondence and answering my questions…..i’m sure i’ll have more when i buy the PPB.

Just have to say that the Phat Phuk B is fantastic!
I’ve been using it pretty extensively over the past few weeks with my main rig (Matamp GT200 with 2, 4×10 cabs plus Rick bass) and I never have it switched off.
It just works perfectly with my set up and its now the only pedal I use. It adds the fattness that I’ve been looking for, whilst giving me that slight bit of dirt to drive the amp nice and hard. Really brilliant stuff, I think I’ve finally achieved the sound I’ve been looking for. Every note on the bass carries real presence and clarity now.

I just wanted to say thanks for creating such an AWESOME pedal!
Over the years I have played and owned many different versions (both boutique and over-the-counter) of the Big Muff and I have to say that your Tall Font Russian has the “tone” and “feel” of what I have always been looking for but could never find.
It has just the right amount of bass, grit, compression, and touch-responsiveness that it has quickly become my new #1. I know you don’t say it on your site but in my opinion, the Tall Font Russian truly is the Black Keys in a box!
